Talking Art, Staffordshire Moorlands Creative Consultation
Staffordshire Moorlands Arts Strategy ConsultationAnne Kinnaird from Letting in the Light worked with 2 other regional artists to research, plan and facilitate a series of consultations with a cross section of the community of the Staffordshire Moorlands, giving individuals and groups the opportunity to inform the direction of the next Arts Strategy.
Targeting hard to reach groups, including pre-school, young people and older people, alongside a series of day events aimed at the general public, the artists developed a series of appropriate creative consultation tools to stimulate debate and generate responses around the provision and potential provision of arts development activities in the area.
The resulting information gathered, and material generated, was compiled into a report and a series of stimulating posters that visually demonstrate the input from the communities were produced as useful tools in the Strategy writing process.
