| Kingsmead Community & Learning Partnership : Creative Consultation - January - March 2008
Letting in the Light were commissioned by Staffordshire County Council to run creative
consultation sessions with pupils and parents from schools
involved in the Kingsmead Community & Learning Partnership.
Letting in the Light
worked with primary schools and Kingsmead Technology College, in the Hednesford cluster, to consult with
the school populations and the wider community to establish the types
of activities and / or learning opportunities they would like to
participate in and also to find out where, when and how they would like
this to happen, what the barriers might be to them accessing provision
and what existing resources could be harnessed to create an enriched
community driven programme of activities.
At Kingsmead Technology college artists worked in the school for their Challenge Day with all of year 7. The pupils and artists worked around the theme of the environment which included their local environment, the school environment and the natural environment to come up with ideas for their future learning and aspirations.
